Maggie in the Meantime is made up of four musicians who have been playing since they were children; they are Magdalena Modzelewska (violin), Jeff Paul (oboe, pennywhistle & keyboards), and brothers Darrel Fickbohm (vocal & guitar), Blaine Fickbohm and often John Pennington (drums).

Celtic and Folk Music

Magdalena (Maggie) is one of the four principal violinists in the South Dakota Symphony and has performed in Europe and America as a soloist.

“I enjoy playing fiddle and Celtic music. It’s deceptively hard to do, even for a practiced musician, and I think it must be one of the original feel-good forms of music."
